متنی خواندم که توسط انستیتوی نوآوری و کارآفرینی دیلویت نوشته شده بود با عنوان: افراد غیرمنطقی بزرگترین دارایی شما هستند؛ میتوانید متن کامل آن را اینجا بخوانید.
در این متن به جملهی فوقالعادهی زیر از جرج برنارد شاو اشاره کرده بود:
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world, the unreasonable man persists in adapting the world to himself, therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man (GB Shaw, Man and Superman, 1905).
در ادامه، نویسنده دربارهی «قدرت غیرمنطقی بودن» (The power of unreason) به نکات جالبی اشاره کرده بود که با هم میخوانیم:
Being unreasonable is not a function of your hierarchical position – it is a state of mind. Over the years we have come to realize that some people are just more unreasonable than others.
Of course it isn’t a binary thing – we all exhibit various shades of unreasonableness, with mavericks like Jobs and Musk on one end of the spectrum, and the rule-following civil servant or boy-scout on the other.
But regardless of how much of that unreasonable gene you were born with, the ability to use it in a smart way is a lot down to skill and experience.
